I love photography, and enjoy it when I meet other photographers that share a passion and love for beautiful pictures. Recently, I had the opportunity to meet and work with Britt McAllister. He was asked by a small child at the event, "why do you take pictures?", I heard his answer. He said the following....
You see, the importance and necessity of the photograph was seared into my soul at the young age of 4 when my father passed away. My sister (who was 2) and I learned to love and respect our father through family photographs. There were only a few "professional" portraits in our home of Dad, but I quickly came to realize the emotion that could be evoked by pulling out the photo albums and slide projector. We, Mom and grandparents all would spend hours reminising over the photographs, time after time.
Mom, quite the photographer herself, continued documenting our lives as we grew. Soon I had a desire to create my own photographs, and my grandfather bought me a BRAND NEW Kodak Instamatic! Soon I was the photo terror of the neighborhood, only stopping when I was out of film.
This was the beginning of my lifelong love and passion of photography, always pursuing the next level of my photographic career. I enjoy the pursuits of making my current friends happy with their "new memories", as we create for them the wedding photographs of their deams. This is how I get my "kicks", with a camera in hand, photographing the wedding is all that is important to him. I am creating tomorrow's priceless memories that your children and grandchildren will enjoy. You can have a look at Britt's work at http://www.brittusa.com/ or you can email him at britt@brittusa.com or you can phone him at 727-512-1681.
I have personally enjoyed meeting Britt and see him as a true professional in the field of photography, and he is a pleasure to work with.
