Bamboo Island Gardens - Unique Wedding Ceremony Locations - A Hidden Oasis
A hidden oasis awaits you! This property showcases 20 different types of species of non-invasive clumping bamboo plants. Last night, I was a guest at a networking meeting that was held at Island Lawn Bamboo Landscapes located at 6540 85th Ave in Pinellas Park, Florida. This was the second time that I have been to this location and I continue to marvel at what a fantastic location this is for a small,
intimate wedding ceremony, or other function. Once you step onto the sidewalk that leads to the rear of the building, you will be amazed at the transformation! You will believe you are in a beautiful tropical paradise. Unfortunately, I did not have my camera with me last night, but I will add some photos. The location can accommodate approximately 100 guests, they have a gorgeous custom designed bamboo arbor, tiki umbrellas, and soothing fountains throughout the gardens. There are two outside restroom facilities, and a music sound system. Inside there is a refrigerator, and microwave, and areas for your caterers to work out of. For an intimate evening event, Kelly and Karlyn, the owners have tiki torch style lighting, and lighting to bring out the beauty of the different types of bamboo they grow. For the event that I attended last night, they had round tables with bamboo style seats, and candles on the tables. It was gorgeous. It is a peaceful and beautiful place. Have a look at their website www.islandlawnservices.com or give Kelly and Karlyn a call for a free complimentary consultation and to check availability. They can be reached at 727-548-0595. This location would provide a truly unique, exquisite, and tranquil location for your ceremony.

Wentworth By The Sea, New Hampshire -Tammy & Ted Congratulations!
The Wentworth By The Sea is a spectacular location for a wedding. The floral gardens, the gazebo overlooking the harbor, and the meticulously manicured grounds, were many of the reasons that Tammy and Ted had selected the Wentworth By The Sea in New Castle for their wedding!
The day of the wedding, the angels were shedding tears of joy as evidenced by the rain that kept falling. The wedding ceremony was moved indoors, and the Wentworth Staff and the Kathy and Vinny owners of Jardiniere Florists worked their magic to transform the indoor location for the splendid wedding event. You can contact Kathy and Vinny at http://www.jardiniereflowers.com/ or call them at 603-427-5560.
Gina Damiano and all of the staff and outside vendors worked together to bring about a beautiful, elegant setting, where Tammy enjoyed her walk down the aisle to meet her handsome groom. The music for the ceremony was provided by Peter Bloom, flutist and Marery Hansen, Harpist. Peter can be contacted at phbloom@comcast.net and Margery can be contacted at 978-282-7425The dancefloor was packed! The music selection pleased all ages! Even I managed to get in a dance or two. The DJ kept things moving. Doug Bounds is a professional DJ and Master of Ceremonies and he can be reached at 603.659.6938 or at his email dougbounds@comcast.net
The reception and staff of the Wentworth By The Sea demonstrated once again the elegance, style and professionalism that makes the location a highly sought after one by many couples. Every detail is handled with the utmost professionalism. I highly recommend this facility for any couple or special event function. For inquiries, email ino@wentworth.com or review the packaes listed on their website.

Pine Point Beach, Maine - Weddings At The Beach!
Rev. Heather Boyd of LovingUnity.com officiated the custom wedding ceremony, as Deb and Roger were united together with their children. Recognizing the significance of the wedding ceremony and the joining of parents is one of the wonderful elements in any wedding. Blended sand is very popular, as well as the giving of gifts, and stating of vows to the children. It is a big day for them too!!! The history of Armed Forces Day is that the holiday began in 1949. It celebrates all military branches on a single day. Each branch of the military had its own holiday prior to that. My dad was a Navy Sea Bea and most of my family was in the Coast Guard.
For those of you who are veterans and also active military, Happy Armed Forces Day and Thank You!!!!
