Cute Wedding Reading
Here is one that we used with a couple who had their dog's serve a ringbearer and flower girls......it was so very cute!
Love is Like Owning a Dog
First of all, it's a big responsibility
so think long and hard before deciding on love.
On the other hand, love gives you a sesnse of security;
When you're walking down the street late at night,
and you have a leash on love,
ain't no one going to mess with you.
Love doesn't like being left along for long.
But comes home and love is always happy to see you.
It may break a few things in it's passion for life,
but you can never be mad at love for long.
Is love good all the time? No! No!
Love can be bad. Bad, love, bad! Very bad love!
Love pulls you in many different directions at once,
or winds around and around you
until you're all wound up and can't move.
Love makes you meet people wherever you go.
People who have nothing in common but love
stop and talk to each other on the street.
But most of all, love needs love, lots of it
and in return, love loves you and never stops.

Wentworth By The Sea, New Hampshire -Tammy & Ted Congratulations!
The Wentworth By The Sea is a spectacular location for a wedding. The floral gardens, the gazebo overlooking the harbor, and the meticulously manicured grounds, were many of the reasons that Tammy and Ted had selected the Wentworth By The Sea in New Castle for their wedding!
The day of the wedding, the angels were shedding tears of joy as evidenced by the rain that kept falling. The wedding ceremony was moved indoors, and the Wentworth Staff and the Kathy and Vinny owners of Jardiniere Florists worked their magic to transform the indoor location for the splendid wedding event. Gina Damiano and all of the staff and outside vendors worked together to bring about a beautiful, elegant setting, where Tammy enjoyed her walk down the aisle to meet her handsome groom. There were many surprises in store for the guests. Tammy and Ted enjoyed a beautifully choreographed first dance, and enjoyed sharing a special dance with Tammy's grandparents who were celebrating a very special wedding anniversary. Congratulations to them as well!
One of the special elements of the ceremony included a sea glass ritual, and the breaking of a sand dollar. Each guest received their own sand dollar keepsake, inscribed with the names and date of the marriage.
Of course, the day would not have been complete without a visit from a very special guest! Boomer, the couples dog, outfitted with a rhinestone studded tuxedo with collar and leash, made his special appearance on the dancefloor.

The reception and staff of the Wentworth By The Sea demonstrated once again the elegance, style and professionalism that makes the location a highly sought after one by many couples. Bridal Fasion Has Gone To The Dogs!!!!
This morning on the today show, they featured wedding attire for dogs. It was so adorable! I loved it! I wrote in a previous blog about the importance of having your pets in your wedding if they are so special to you. They showed you how to tastefully and stylishly incorporate your pets into the wedding party. If you go to their website http://www.msnbc.com and look at the weddings section, you will get detailed instructions on how to include your pet. It tells you how to measure your pet for the correct clothing fitting, yes, that's right, just like humans, pets have body types too! If you want your pet to be a bridesmaid,
you can get the fabric that matches the bridesmaids dresses and it will integrate your little one into the wedding seamlessly, AND make a serious fashion statement.Clothing is important, but make sure that your pet knows how to walk down the aisle for itself. If not, then you should assign an escort, like the ring bearer or flower girl.

Of course your pet can be in the wedding ceremony!
One of the fantastic things about creating customized wedding ceremonies is that each ceremony is uniquely about you and your wishes. With that in mind, I wanted to talk briefly about having your pets in the wedding! We have conducted several weddings in which "man's best friend" was the actual ring bearer! 
I am a pet lover myself, so I can surely understand when a couple asks me of ways to include their dog, for example, because their dog is a member of their family. I love the idea of including them, and most of the time, the dogs that I have seen in the wedding ceremonies that I have officiated at, have been very well behaved and people truly enjoyed seeing their involvement.
Many specialty bridal shops now understand the desire for couples to include their furry friends and I have seen quite a few mini tuxedo's for your four legged ring bearer! At a wedding in Maine, a beautiful lab mix dog came down the aisle to the command of his owner with the rings securely attached to his collar, then remained sitting next to the owner during the ring ceremony. At the end of the ceremony, the dog happily trotted off with his parents as they began their future together.
Don't be afraid to ask your wedding minister or officiant how you can include your pets. If you are a couple that has had your pet in your wedding, tell me about it!!!
